Choi gets his Kudos

If the Dodgers did not offer Hee-Seop Choi before 9 o'clock last night he would have become a free-agent and contributed to another team.

We resigned him, so now we have by far the best first-base team in the MLB.

Nomar
Saenz
Choi

If I were Papa Ned I would package one of them (Saenz, he is oldest and probably has most value) fro a pitcher!

Best first base team in the majors... only behind the Cardinals, White Sox, Rangers, Indians, Cubs, Mets, Rockies, Astros, Mariners and perhaps the Diamondbacks, Nationals and Royals. It is a decent threesome and deep, but 1B is the position of stars so a plattoon of has beens, old guys and a flawed young guy will never be the best in the majors.

Well, I think that with what we pay our first basemen compared to the Rockis and other teams, and the fact that we can survive a catastrophic injury (unlike the Cards or Mets), we are pretty close to numero uno. I might have exagerated a little, but not much!
