Work to be Done

The biggest problem with the Milton Bradley trade is that it leaves our outfield in a mess. If we have Bradley, we have a great outfield of J.D. Drew, Milton Bradley, and Jayson Werth/Jose Cruz Jr. Instead, we have an incredible weak outfield of J.D. Drew, Jayson Werth, and Jose Cruz Jr.

Now maybe this Andre Ethier guy will be used to get a premium outfielder such as Bobby Abreu or Adam Dunn, or maybe Colletti is really stocking up for the road ahead. Now I realize I have a very hot/cold relationship with Mr. Colletti, but let us look at my projected 2007 lineup:

1. Rafael Furcal, SS
2. James Loney/Hee-Seop Choi?/Other Addition?, 1B
3. J.D. Drew, CF
4. Jeff Kent?/Cesar Izturis?/Joel Guzman, 2B
5. Andy Laroche, 3B
6. Matt Kemp/Andre Ethier, RF
7. Jayson Werth/Matt Kemp/Andre Ethier, LF
8. Dioner Navarro/Russell Martin, C

Now that is a super lineup! I am projecting Guzman as a Second-basemen just because he definitely fits best there looking at this roster. He would also be worth just as much as when he plays Short-stop.

No matter what, if Ned trades our prospects to win now or if he plays for continuity, we will win at one point. That lineup is just so unbelievably potent, and if Ned does decide to trade something he will get nice return.

Long live Dodger Blue!
